Position Summary
The Assembly Technician I is part of a team of employees who assemble an entire product or individual components of a manufactured item. This is an entry level assembly position in the AC/DC Department.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Additionally, the physical demands and the work environment typically encountered are listed below. Education / Experience (an equivalent combination of education and/or experience)

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2 Years of Experience in Production/Assembly

Technical Skills

• MS Office
• ISO preferred, but not required
• Hand and Power Tools
• Reads Tape Measurements
• Basic Mathematics
• Troubleshooting Problems

Physical Requirements

• Able to squat, bend and lift up to 65 lbs. without assistance.
• Able to operate equipment, including forklifts, safely and able to understand and follow safety protocols.
• Able to stand for up to 10 hours per day and to walk for extended periods of time.
• Able to work in a dynamic, non-climate-controlled facility with fluctuations in temperature.

Work Conditions
Environment: Warehouse (not climate controlled)
